Scaled or cropped image in Composite

Postby admin » Fri Jun 22, 2012 12:26 am

Problem
Image looks fine in VIEW1, but appears scaled in VIEW2 (Composite), even though there is no DVE applied.

Cause
VIEW1 and VIEW2 have different frame resolutions (based on INPUT Format).

Solution
Set INPUT2 to same format as INPUT1.
If this is not possible (due to recording two cameras with different format), use UPSCALE 1080 in SET VIEW Menu to force the same upscale to both VIEWs.

I understand the fix here but the resolution and frame size are/were identical for both elements from the same camera. I will try what has been suggested and hope that it works because it is very annoying. This glitch must have come with a software revision because I had never experienced this until it happened when I first encountered it months ago, I just never brought it to anybodies attention until now. Thanks for the speedy reply :-)

It's not a glitch. It has always worked like this.
