Problem with Hundai 3D monitor

Postby Scott » Mon Jul 26, 2010 2:12 pm

Hello.

I'm trying to get Q-Take 3D playback on Hundai W240S monitor.
The problem is what ever setup I use I can't get it showing the correct 3D image.
The closest i could get to 3D image is DEMUXing the SBS to LBL and flipping left part of the image.

There is NO 3D setup on the monitor itself. And no software to configure it on OSX.

Is there any way you can help?

First, you need to know that Hyundai 24" really sucks. It is ghosting from most viewing angles. Also, it supports only line-by-line 3D signal, so re-muxing to LBL is the only solution. Hyundai 42" is another story. It displays nice 3D image without ghosts, but it is quite big for on-set handling.

When I set it to LBL it still shows some missplased lines.
Like it's something wrong with lines allignment.
I checked it on all resolutions and all the Refresh Rates.
Tried fliping both the image and the glasses - still nothing.

Is there a solution for this monitor or does it belong where it came from? =)

Resolution should be set to 1920x1200 (native resolution of the panel). However, it seems that X-pol polarizing layer is not properly aligned with screen lines...

Hi!

It's DigilogSystem in Korea.
We discussed that problem with HyundaiIT. We told them what you guys said.
So they understood what the problem is and what we(and you guys) want.

They will make new monitors with 22", 24", 46" without the problems on September.
We are waiting for that time.

Please, wait and expect that time .
If you have any questions about it , you can contact us.
